Maewyn Succat, later canonized as Saint Patrick, lived from around 390 until 462 A.D. Though famous in the United States for driving away snakes, and for the Irish-American holiday on his feast day, his true history is even more interesting and inspiring. Grace drew him out of slavery to become a missionary.

That feast day is March 17, the same day our church was established.
